Jesuit Church of the Sacred Heart, Edinburgh
Welcome to the Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart. We are located on Lauriston Street near the Grassmarket in Edinburgh’s historic Old Town.
The mission of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) was begun in Scotland in 1541 and this parish has been in the care of the Jesuits since 1859. The church opened in 1860. The parish is in the Archdiocese of St Andrews and Edinburgh.
