Marriage Readings

The liturgy of marriage will include two or three Scripture readings (whether you are having a Nuptial Mass or the Marriage Rite without Mass).

You should choose a Gospel reading and either (a) an Old Testament reading and a New Testament reading, or (b) one other reading from either the Old or New Testament. One of the readings you choose must refer specifically to marriage.

The priest will read the Gospel. You will need to choose a reader or readers for the other reading(s).
