Edinburgh Jesuit Centre
Begun in 2006, the Edinburgh Jesuit Centre is an initiative of the Society of Jesus to offer courses, events and retreats in theology, spirituality, social justice and adult faith formation. During the pandemic of 2019-21, events went online and have attracted a varied and international audience in addition to local participants in Edinburgh and the east of Scotland. Events in the coming season will be a mix of in-person and online.
Please check back here for updates and more detailed information on events nearer the time.
The Edinburgh Jesuit Centre relies on donations. We are a charity registered in Scotland (SC40490). If you attend an event, course or retreat either in person or online, please consider making a donation here. Thank you.

A Retreat in Daily Life
It is not too soon to sign up for our Lent retreat in daily life, ‘Pathways through the desert’, which is being offered in partnership with St Paul and St George Episcopal Church, York Place. The retreat begins on Sunday 18 February and runs for five weeks, finishing on Sunday 24 March. Participants are asked to set aside some time each day for prayer (usually 20 to 30 minutes) and to meet once a week with their individual prayer guide. Leaflets and posters with more information are available in the narthex. For more information please email ejcretreats@jesuit.org.uk
